Using the dotCMS Visual Editor just got easier! The Content Palette is an upgraded content selection experience in the Universal Visual Editor (UVE) designed to make page building faster, clearer, and far more intuitive. It replaces cluttered content lists with a focused, context-aware panel that helps editors quickly find exactly what they need—right when they need it.

The palette organizes content into dedicated tabs for Favorites, Widgets, and Content, with intelligent filtering that shows only the content types allowed on the current page. Editors can switch between list and thumbnail views, apply sort controls, and reuse frequently used items with a single click. The result is less searching, fewer mistakes, and a smoother page-building flow.
Available on Evergreen instances only.
