Content Architect Training
Two-Part Training Series
The training will be delivered in two sessions, each will take 90 minutes, and during the training, there will be options to submit questions to the trainer:
- Part 1: Wednesday, September 27, 2023 | 930AM EST
- Part 2: Friday, September 29, 2023 | 930AM EST
This training teaches the creation of containers, content types, categories, relationships, templates, personalization rules, site search, groups, and roles, as well as the use of other advanced features such as the event calendar and form handler in dotCMS.
This training is a prerequisite for any follow-up dotCMS training (such as Web developer and Java Developer).
What You Will Learn
Day 1
- Familiarize yourselves with a top-down look at dotCMS
- Create file assets and explore their properties
- Explore page content types and their properties
- Explore creating content types and their fields
- Setting up content categories, tags, and relationships
Day 2
- How to set up hosts for your site or multiple sites to use
- Making your site pages look and act the way you want
- Ensuring URLs are mapped appropriately
- Customizing your site navigation
- Making your backend work for your users
- Streamlining your content publishing
- Ensuring your users can access what they should
- Properties, role keys, and inheritance
Certification
Attendees can certify themselves for this training. All attendees will receive a quiz right after the session on Friday. The quiz must be completed within 24 hours to qualify for the certification.
All attendees who submit their responses to the quiz will receive their certificate the following week if they have passed the criteria.
