dotCMS launches New Partner Program, Marks Early Recruitment Success

May 02, 2010

Miami, Florida, USA – 03 May 2010.  dotCMS – the commercial-grade Java based, open source CMS – today introduced its new Partner Program.

The program allows Partners to encapsulate their domain expertise in the form of Accelerators – technology modules that meet specific vertical or horizontal needs. Partners have the ability to build their own Accelerators, own the licensing and earn follow on revenue through direct and indirect sales.

“The dotCMS Partner program focuses on activities and technologies that help partners build their business through differentiation and expertise,” said Bill Beardslee, SVP, Strategy and Development at dotCMS. “The dotCMS framework allows Partners to build upgradable Accelerators that encapsulate their domain expertise. These Accelerators can be used to demonstrate their expertise, and importantly extend margin and revenue opportunities in repeat sales. Build it once, sell it many times. That is the power of dotCMS Enterprise Edition.”

dotCMS has placed implementation training high on the list of requirements for its Partner Program. Certified Partners are required to have two professionals on staff who have successfully completed both the dotCMS System Admin and Developer curriculum and passed both a hands on and written exam.

"CGX was a dotCMS partner prior to the introduction of the new program," said Gottfried Ryser, Managing Director of CGX AG. "The Certified Partner level provides our customers with the assurance of the highest quality implementations, while at the same time lending us a hand with our own lead generation efforts. This is one of the strongest partner programs I have seen in the CMS space."

About dotCMS

dotCMS is a content management system that helps global enterprises with multiple brands, subsidiaries, and franchises manage, optimize, and scale content across languages and channels.  Brands such as Dairy Queen, Newell, Firstmac, Telus, and Comcast have chosen dotCMS for its unique ability to manage thousands of sites and consolidate multiple CMSs onto a single, unified instance of dotCMS to streamline content management across teams while saving money on platform costs.

dotCMS’ universal approach to content management also means that companies have the choice to deliver content traditionally or headlessly. Headless developers can work within the front-end framework of choice while still providing marketers with visual editing tools so they can go to market with their business-critical content and decrease their dependency on technical teams.
