Daniel Silva is one of dotCMS’s longest-tenured engineering leaders, with more than 14 years of experience growing alongside the platform from its early evolution to its current AI-powered direction. As Engineering Manager, he brings deep, battle-tested product knowledge shaped by years of hands-on work across the core platform, APIs, and enterprise-scale content systems. Passionate about technology, he is especially energized by the latest advances in AI and how they can improve content operations and developer workflows. Outside of work, he is just as at home on a soccer field, a bike trail, or on stage. He once opened for Metallica in Caracas, Venezuela, with his band, which says a lot about how well he performs under pressure.
